Starting from a global design proposal, the concept for the first Blue Health studio in Amsterdam was translated into a buildable interior within a monumental building.

Project context
Blue Health developed a new studio concept focused on measuring and improving personal health through data-driven insights. The interior needed to support this clinical function while maintaining a calm and accessible atmosphere.
The challenge
The project was realised in an existing monumental building in Amsterdam, requiring the concept to be adapted to an irregular structure with angled walls and uneven floors. This introduced several constraints. The interior had to fit precisely within a space that offered little tolerance for standard solutions.
At the same time, the design needed to remain clean and consistent, while being robust enough for daily use in a healthcare environment. This required careful engineering of materials, details and connections.
Our approach
PRDCT WRKS translated the design into a production-ready interior, with a strong focus on detailing and alignment. The concept included many clean and continuous lines, which required all elements to connect precisely on site.
Due to the irregular geometry of the building, components were not fully finished in the workshop. Instead, elements were prepared for installation and finalised on location, where measuring, adjusting and fine-tuning ensured a perfect fit.
Custom solutions were developed where needed, including the curved aluminium HPL examination table, engineered to meet both design and durability requirements.
The result
The final interior integrates custom-made elements that fit precisely within the existing building. The combination of tailored solutions and controlled production results in a functional and durable health studio.
The space supports the intended use while maintaining a clear and consistent design language throughout.
